Gippsland Lakes Cruises
Peels Cruises have been operating in Lakes Entrance for 3 generations, in fact since 1920.
They have three cruise boats to choose from, operating at different times throughout the year. Cruise the lakes of East Gippsland in class and style, their skippers will open your eyes to abundant wildlife in our corner of Eastern Victoria.
Come aboard the Thunderbird, the largest cruise boat on the Gippsland Lakes.
The Thunderbird does several Scenic Cruises of the Gippsland Lakes, covering Lake King and Lake Victoria, as well as discovering wildlife and water life along the way.
Fully enclosed seating, with large upper viewing decks. A fully stocked bar and snack bar is on board for your convenience, serving alcohol, soft drinks and snacks.
Winery Luncheon Cruise
Departs at 11am, Wednesday and Saturday, with a 45 minute Cruise up the North Arm to the Wyanga Winery.
Enjoy a main course and wine tasting at the Winery, then return to Lakes Entrance by 3 pm.
Metung Luncheon Cruise
Take a Metung Luncheon cruise on the Gippsland Lakes aboard the ML Stormbird.
Four hour Cruise into Lake King, then around the shores of Metung to the Metung Hotel for Lunch.
Stay in Metung for a couple of hours, eating and exploring, then back aboard for a trip around Rigby Island and Chinamans Creek. Travel thirty kms of Pristine Waterways, spot the dolphins, view the wildlife on assorted islands, along with an expert commentary on the Gippsland Lakes from your skipper.
Departs Post Office Jetty at 11 am – returns 3 pm
